Here are just a few simple tips for what I find helps me the most during each week!
Dedicate a small window of time to grocery shopping at the start of each week
I find Sundays usually work the best for me as from Monday on the weeks can get pretty darn crazy.
Make your own food (this way you know that truly goes into it) and have meals ready for the day when you’re busy, out and about or at work
Find something quick & easy to make that you can pack up and leave the house with. Typically I eat breakfast at home, but otherwise meals such as stirfrys or variations on different types of rice/quinoa/veggie bowls are super easy and satisfying. I also like to bring a smoothie with me as I don’t always get a long chunk of time to sit down and eat! Tupperware has certainly become my friend when it comes to having enough food packed for me throughout the day.
Consider your environment. What you bring into your living space, you are that much more likely to have! Fill your surrounding space with whatever foods make you feel best, and that you enjoy on a regular basis.
I’m fairly intentional with what I bring into my place. Whatever it is I usually have plans for using it right away, whether it be for meal prep, a recipe I want to try during the weekend, etc. Its rare that I have snacks (my sisters sure don’t like this haha) laying around unless I’ve made or bought something for that purpose the day of. Since I usually have meals prepped and ready, or at least the ingredients to make something quickly, I don’t find the need to have snacky fillers in between quite as often, but thats just me! Then again, there sure are the days where I crave ‘em and if thats the case, I’ll go out and get ‘em!
